The only things bigger in Texas are land mass and... Well, land mass. Given that the place is a single state and has an area of 268,000 square miles and is half again as wide as the whole of the UK (it takes over 12 hours to drive across it), one would think that everything else in the state would seem small by comparison. Arizona being one of the small southwestern states (we're a measly 114,000 square miles and 400 miles end to end), you can imagine the ribbing we get...
