Hi everyone,
Been interested inRailways for a number of years, also interested in my family history.
Does anyone know how I can find out if any of my relations worked in Swindon works, and if so which part.

Welcome to the Forum Deltic009. Finding out about relatives who worked on the railways is quite difficult as so many were employed!

This link suggests that you contact National Archive at Kew which now holds GWR Archives and Records including Staff Records:

It would help if you knew what dates your relative was at Swindon and what job he/she did, otherwise it could be a bit like hunting for a needle in a haystack!

Good Luck.

Best wishes,

John H-T.

Hello Deltic009 and welcome to the railway Forum. I see it didn't take long for you to get an answer to your request for family railway history. Good luck with the search.
