Staines Branch Line

H

Hello all.i recently visited the West Drayton-Staines West Branch.Although still used from West Drayton to Colnbrook for freight, the Colnbrook-Staines West section is disused and partly overgrown.
Is anyone interested in helping to clear the overgrowth and help to restore the line as a footpath .There were three Halts between Colnbrook and Staines, the remains of two of these can still be seen, the other is now under junction14 of the M25.Staines West Station building is now converted to office use.

Hello Peter Taylor and welcome to the Railway Forum. Good luck with clearing the overgrowth and setting up a footpath.
