Hi Mike and welcome from me too. What's your passion then would it be steam by chance (I notice you are retired) or diesel or all things rail? Whatever it is I hope you enjoy the company on this forum.
All the best
Phil

A belated hello from me and welcome. I guess you're right beside Peak Rail and there's been previous discussion on this Forum about whether they'll ever extend northwards from their present base. We've concluded they won't but it will always be nice to hear local news about them. Look forward to reading your posts.

Hello

Hello all and thanks for the welcome.Interested in most things railway, but my main interest is rail freight mainly around York's-Nott's and Derby's.The modern diesels and electrics make it look easy so I tend to look back at the hard working loco men and engines around the 40's,50's,60's and 70's.Steam or Diesel,8f or Class 20's,just two of my favourites but to be honest I think they all are.
Regards Mike.
