March - Wisbech railway line.

I heard today that Wisbech may become a "garden city" and part of that would entail reopening the railway line from March.

I know our member bramleyman was involved at some time with a group trying to reopen the line, does he have any up to date info on this matter ?

EDIT.

Found this on the interweb.

Hello Pre65, I have to confess, I still go to Wisbech, but there was an item in one of the local papers recently and mentioning the town becoming a garden city. Other than that, I have heard nothing other than the group are no longer and funds raised are in an account, no doubt gaining interest for the committee.

If I hear anymore, I will let you all know.
