Bid to reopen old train line (BBC News)

An historic rail line between two Devon towns could be reopened by a developer, in exchange for being allowed to build 750 new houses.

Have you worked out that if the line costs £20M and they build 750 houses that is nearly £27000 per house before they even dig 1 foundation (if they still do that today).
