Bachmann doors

In the OO bachmann range, steam locos have opening smokebox doors.
The thing is, I can't for the life of me figure out how this is done.

I have just bought two steam locos from them- the Jinty and the brand new
3MT.

Can anyone help me?

I am being tempted with a hammer now, but I know i will regret that.

They say it would make a nice shed scene but they don't tell you how!

Do what a CME would do, get one of your staff to have a go !

And then blame him (or her) when it breaks.

They are all on holiday at the moment.
I am a lazy git so they might not come back.

I have some friends who have bought Bachmann and they have come across similar problems.

Back on subject I did have a go with some tweesers to try to easy the doors open but it does not work.
I am disapointed with bachmann, it should be them telling me how and not me finding out.

Have you tried putting your finger in the firebox door and blowing hard down the chimney?

It doesn't have an open boiler.
Becuase all of their OO scale locos are electric, the boiler is solid.
the firebox doesn't exist as such and the chimney doesn't really go anywhere.

So you can't do that, although it would be fun if you could!
