Question After a derailment?

Travelling between Bellingham & Beckenham Hill stations (South of London) on Friday I noticed two Weltrol type wagons at the side of the line, beginning to get lost in the undergrowth. I presume these are here following a derailment at some point in the past - anyone know any details?

Tony

Well I've been driving the Catford Loop for over 10 years, and they've been there all that time !

I'm afraid I don't know how they got there though.

Sorry.

I think they're Lowmacs
Became derailed during some engieering work and got put there
out the way. One upright one upside down
Must have been there nigh on 20yrs now

If I get stopped round there I'll nip down and see what the
date on the chairs is, might give me a clue
