I have a problem.

One of my 8F tenders keeps dropping "off the road", just one set of wheels !
My track has not moved at all, it is all fixed, but all of a sudden the one set of wheels on this one tender keeps coming off ! I am rather bemused !
I have checked it but cannot see anything, I think I will have to put it in my workshop and change that set of wheels, but I just cannot understand it.
"Grrr"

I have also had this problem on many locos.
It could be that one of the wheel flanges has worn down.
It could also be that the drawbar has been bent slightly and is taking the weight off the axle.
Hope that helps.

Well I have checked the wheels and they are ok at this time BUT the connecting piece between the tender and Loco seems to be the problem, so that has got to be dealt with, probably this morning. I am at the moment busy re painting and renewing the numbers etc on another class 8, but nearly finished then I will do that job.

Check the wheel back to back measurements too, maybe they need opening out a bit.
