Welcome to the site honey. I'm a Boro lad and I know the area pretty well round there as I used to go camping in Swainby/Whorlton.
I've also driven trains on the Eaglescliffe/Northallerton line and the Whitby branch and I've even taken an engine as far as the buffer stop at Battersby which is probably as near to Sexhow as you can get now.  Sorry I can't help you look for pics of Sexhow, but good luck in your search anyway.
