Just found you guys and thought this was somewhere I could learn more about railways rather than just photographing them

Welcome to the forum. I have fond memories of arriving at Dudley station on GWR railcar W22W in the mid 1950s for a trip to the zoo !!!

Welcome. I never went to Dudley station in my memory, i remember the miniature railway at the zoo though, as well as loosing my flask in the gorilla cage, and my mum giving me a hard boiled egg for my sandwich which wasn`t, and the killer whale.
