Greetings From Cay

Hi every body, I am new to the forum.
I'm a real novice when it comes to trains, but I do a lot of art and have recently got really keen interest in trains. I would love to start painting/drawing them... especially steam trains.
Looking forward to checking out the gallery and learning more!

Welcome Cay
Painting trains YUP do that, photography helps too - - - any queries I'm here regularly will have to find some images to show in the gallery

Usually use Watercolour/Gouache - - one word of warning if you are good enough to sell the paintings make sure you have copyright ownership or written permission - - experience tells had to ask a very Right Hon person who published a book of photo's so that I could exhibit one I'd done for me but was just so atmospheric I had to show it it was no problem but could have landed me in trouble as the paintings were for sale too

got one getting ready to start - paper stretched and dried well drawing the outline is next followed by 999 shades of black and grey with little bits of red and blue be done in about 12 months - I don't rush them
