Well, the Talyllyn Railway in Wales is one of my favourites, that's why I chose that as my username
 I am a fan of all railways, but I'm particularly interested in steam locomotives and the era of steam despite being only 20 years old and therefore by no means born in to the generation of steam!

Hello Max and welcome to the Railway Forum. You said "despite being only 20 years old". Well age dose not matter where steam is concerned, I know of a 6 year old who is mad about steam.

Well I'm planning a visit soon as it happens; I'm just waiting to receive my hours from work before arranging something around it. I shall be sure to take plenty of pictures though, as I always do!
And thank you DSY011, I agree, I too have been fascinated by steam ever since I was around the age of 3 or 4 - partly thanks to a little blue tank engine!  hehe
