Borders Railway bridge dispute taken to tribunal

A charity is taking Network Rail to a tribunal over the money offered after the compulsory purchase of a bridge to carry the new Borders railway.

Why don't I find this story surprising? A compulsory purchase order is usually a rip-off but the compensation offered in this case is woefully out of line. I hope that E&LGT win their case.
