Thumbs up SET HS Preview :)

Hey all,

I was able to get a journey on the new HS1 preview train from St. Pancras International to Ebbsfleet.

Firstly does anyone have an idea of the mileage that this covers please ? ? ?

The trip is ok, passing through mostly Tunnel to the come above ground in the wastelands of Essex (well Dagenham area) then Tunnel again to Ebbsfleet under the river.

Ebbsfleet Internation is, at platform leve, reather non descript. Concrete Bunker feel to it but going upstairs is rather different. The station concourse is well appointed with a coffee shop, a WH Smiths type shop, Avis Car rental and little else. Clean and tidy is the order of the day.

Train wise it's pretty noisy in the tunnel sections, and the seats are comfortable. Staff are well informed and the on train announcements are clean and loud enough to be heard.

South Eastern Trains HS is a nice way to travel.
