An assembly member on his was to a railway conference has criticised Translink after his train was late.

Good. The more people with power who are inconvienced by problems on the railways the more likely that something will be done about it.

Yes:- They will start to lay on special exclusive luxury trains for the self-important people, and clear the network of trains for the common people in case they get in their way.

Ah yes, but then us common people can sneak on to there posh trains, and then hide behind one of there antique chairs that they have fitted in there grand dining carriage!
