As an old Salfordian may I welcome you to the forum. I look forward to your input, I love the Metro system especially the Eccles line (to the hotel that I stay in when in the frozen North).
Where does the newly opened line run to? Has the new depot been finished yet?

thanks for info about the south manchester line,seen a few trams running across town with-tram on test]now i know why,will hop on one this week if i can.

It will initially run to St Werburgh's Road in Chorlton, eventually two spurs will go to East Didsbury and Manchester Airport. Old Trafford depot was finished earlier this year and handed over to Metrolink last month
