Offer of help

Hello All,

My name is Jeff I am boilermaker bye trade, pipe fitter and coded welder, I'm looking to get involved, I have a lot of skills to offer if I can be of use.

This is all new to me, I have always loved Steam but of late I have moved jobs and I am now off the tools but I don't want my skills to go to waste. If any feels I could be of use please drop me a line.

All The Best for the New Year.

Cheers,

Jeff.

There must be some suitable hertitage railway sites where your skills arepriceless. A bbrouse through railway mag or steam railway will give you some ideas.

Hi Jeff and welcome to the forum. How nice to see you offering your services and valuable ones at that. There are many Heritage Sites around and close to the Merseyside are the Ribble Steam Railway, West Lancs Light Railway Whitwell and Reepham railway, East Lancs Railway.
I am sure any one would welcome your skills.
Good luck and enjoy the forum
All the best
Phil

Hello Jeff and welcome to the Railway Forum. As Phil said 'nice to see you offering your services', Heritage sites are always looking for any voluntary help they can get.

Welcome to the Forum Jeff. Shame you are not closer to Wirksworth in Derbyshire. The Ecclesbourne Valley Railway could find you plenty to do!

Happy New Year.
