Thanks guys. It was another odd question by my step dad when he was ranting about the public transport system (as usual) and saying surely they can afford extra carriages! Thanks all!!!
And yes david did buy black prince for £3000 BUT! She had a crack in the boiler resulting in the ESR being evacuated but he still got a good deal. She is a lovely engine and a joy to drive
