Best viewing points for takig photos in Lancs

Hi can anyone let me know please where the best places are to take photos of trains in Lancashire thank you...Ray

The West Coast Main Line cuts the county in two.Check the line out on Google Earth.There are many places to shoot.There is a popular spot at Alder Lane, Winwick on the WCML. The overhead lines can be a problem.

You could try the East Lancashire Railway, that is a heritage line.

And The Keighley - Worth valley line is a good place as well.

If you travel, Hellifield is good once the Settle - Carlisle line gets back to regular steam specials.
