There is a lady freight driver I speak to now and again on another forum...I suppose I could ask, but how to frame the question delicately enough so that she doesn't think I'm some kind of weirdo pervert?!

![]() ![]() ![]() Far Too Much Information in some of these posts!!! However, back to the topic! I seem to remember that the class 47? also had a hot plate/ring in one cab. And one of the best breakfasts I ever had was fried on a shovel, unfortunately I can't remember which loco! as I was rather young at the time. My best efforts always fail to quite match up to the memory!

A cooker on a 66 is vital on a 12 hour ballast turn in the middle on nowhere land.
I f you sit on the second mans side, and fall asleep with your feet on the dashboard you can cook your steel toe cap boots. It takes ages for them to cool down. |
