i very much like steam ,but i wasnt there to see them,so how can other enthusiasts 'EXPECT' me and others to like steam as much as them,im a big fan of slammers' and 80s' and 90s EMU's but if some of my mates dont like them thats because they like steam, and they have no problem with them, but it just seems steam enthusiast talk down to people who like EMUs or trains like them,im not saying all of them do it but it just seems if you want to get kids into trains let them choose there own locos they like?i like 0-6-0Ts very much, but im not saying all you steam enthusiasts are like it but some of you's are, does any one agree with the issue that, some steam lovers talk down to EMU' and DMU' lovers?

Regarding Freight Liveries I suppose I live in the past,
Private owner wagons in all colours (mostly a bit subdued though). Trains made up from an assortment of different wagons except coal trains, red oxides, greys, blacks, flaking paint on wooden bodies and of course rust. Locos a dirty black with rusty highlighting or streaks of lime from water treatment for steam, dirty blues and greens for diesels. None of theses fancy colour schemes of the present day nor a caterpillar of wagons all looking the same none of which seem to have any character worth remarking on, only containers now have any individuality. Personally I am quite happy living with my memories. John (G) |

Does it make a loco, DMU/EMU any better if the livery is changed.

to get back on topic:
1.Loadhaul.It was an awesome colour scheme that would suit any loco 2.Mainline Aircraft Blue.Looks fantastic when loco was fresh out of the box 3.The yellow 'Infrastructure' livery as applied to 31116 and 47803

thanks guy's,
it's just some steam lovers do this to me,not all of you, most of the other enthusiasts who like steam have a little joke around about steam are better the multiple units, but some others really talked down to me,thanks for your replys, but a reply to bubblewrap,i like EMU's and DMU's even if there livery are changed, the livery dosnt matter it could be bright pink and say 'BARBIE' on the side its if you like the class itself, like SouthEastern for exsample im not a big fan of there livery, but i still love class 465s.hope this ansered your Questions, cheers again for your replys, SouthEastern-465,Nsers member ________________________________________________ BR Network SouthEast 1984-1996 'old, late, and dirty' the good days of the southern!
