Cool Hello From Up North

Hi Everyone,
I'm new to this forum so I thought I would drop a line to say hello.

I am 14 and Live in Northallerton on the ECML. I am a regualr visitor at the Wensleydale Railway and in recent months my pictures have been duplicated to staff and volunteers. I like travelling around the North photographing freight, charter, Steam moves and other unusual movements.

Besidses railway photography I am a keen railway modeller with a modern image layout measuring 10' x 4' + Fiddle Yard! I have a lagre fleet of locomotives suited to modern day operation and some older steam locomotives fro use on charter. In total my locomotive fleet is around 40 and my rolling stock well over 100.

On a different track from railways altogether I am a keep photographer in general especially for my school newsletter. I also love biking and have racked up nearly 4000 miles in the last 3 years. For anyone with a remote interest my top speed was 33.3mph and I'm currently awaiting a news bike (roll on Christmas).

I hope that you all enjoy my posts and that I can keep you up to date with developments from Wensleydale Railway.

Jonathon

Hi Wensley & welcome to the forum.

I haven't visited Wensleydale railway myself but from the looks of things it looks a really interesting place to visit, nice to see somewhere that has such a variety of stock visiting including class 60's, would love to get behind one of those for a journey. Make sure you upload some of your photos onto the gallery too, would be great to see them.

Hello and welcome to the forum Jonathan. I've not managed to vist the Wensleydale myself yet, but a friend of mine has, and he thinks it's the best preserved line he's ever been on.

Welcome Jonathan, I hope you enjoy this site. I am a keen modeler and have a 'N' gauge layout and am building up my stock of '00' for when I start to build it after I retire. I have in my 00 stock 30 locos, 64 wagons but only 19 coaches as yet.
In my 'N' gauge I have 19 locos, 12 coaches and 53 wagons.
