Network Rail declares its intention to bring more fast train services between the major cities in the North.

Sounds good to me, I think there is way too much focus on all these high speed train services connecting North and South, but little of that on regions, so this will be a much wanted plan for those in the Yorkshire area to benefit from more services and make the train travel approach more appleaing.
