Woman and child killed at station.

A woman and a toddler were killed this morning at Riddlesdown station near Purley South London. British Transport Police are investigating.

The Daily Mail have said it was Suicide. Why did they have to write that?

Sadly the information released so far does tend to suggest that it was. It just so sad for all the people involved. I do however agree that we should await the verdict of the coroner.

I agree with you bramleyman, untill the coroner decides based on the evidence given by witnesses its only speculation, but I wouldn't expect any better from the Daily Mail.

Yes i read an article in a site, Witnesses said the woman jumped onto the tracks with the child and lay down seconds before the train pulled in.
The incident was reported to BTP at 8.29am on that date..

So sad to read that. I can sympathize with anyone who feels they have nothing left to live for but I find it hard to forgive anyone taking a child as well. I'll bet that antidepressants were involved somewhere in the history.
