Just bought the Hornby class L.1.- what a beauty, runs like dream straight from the box.
Recently treated myself to a Bachmann Ivatt Class 4 2.6.0. "Mucky Duck", also a superb loco. Anyone know where I could find a model of an 'N7' or a D16 ? I am trying to base my new layout on the old M & G N/G E R area. |

check the catalogues as to what is available there was a lot of LNER stuff on Ebay recently too including a B17 (I think) streamline which was a modified A4 body on the B17 chassis

Thanks for the info. I have catalogues going back to the year dot, but nothing seems to have come from the major manufacturers. I already have most rtr stock that I need, but would dearly love to find a D16 4.4.0 and N7 0.6.2. I saw the LNER streamlined B17 on ebay, but tempting though it was, I decided that it really would look out of place on my M &G N style layout. As a lad I remeber both the B17 streamliners in wartime black and the later BR green. They were regulars at Stratford. Have a good weekend, Don |
