Class 150's Now in Northern Livery

Today i spotted 150 142 now repainted into Northern Livery so it seems that re-painting has begun on this batch now along with the 142's.

Funny yo should say that as i was on 150 222 this Morning working the 09.408 to Stayleybridge Via Rainhill etc and it was in a bit of a mess i say as when i closed the door in the area were the bike space is the Door wouldent shut properley plus quite bit of graffiti mainley etching.

But yet on the way Back from Rainhill 150 268 was working the 12.08 to Liverpool Lime Street which 268 was in a good condition even thogh it was unrefurbished just a few seats need fixing and a good clean wouldent go a miss.

Also was on 142 058 last night on the way back from Prescot it seemed when i saw it parked up in Lime Street this morning that it had had some damge to the front end plus the Toilet was in a mess when i was on it last night hence the reson it was prked up spare today.

They actually painted some non-refurbished 150s in Northern livery last year, but the ones that they repainted were in Regional Railways livery when they acquired them.

One of the refurbished 150s is painted in Northern livery and is advertising Buxton, while another is advertising a rugby cup which Northern sponsor.

Yes thats right 150 268 etc these also carry names as well and i think these are the better ones of the batch what Northern have.

Also there is a 156 now in Northerns Corporate Livery (Same as the 142's etc) it is i think No 438 or 428 it was on the 19.13 from Hunts Cross to Warrington CTL last night (27/11/2007) it was working a Wigan - Liverpool Stoping service when i 1st saw it.
