"New" Chiltern Bubble Car
Chiltern Railways took delivery of their second class 121 passenger bubble car yesterday. 121034 has been refurbished at Tyseley Locomotive Works and worked to Aylesbury depot as 5A00. It is finished in BR green livery and has a number of detail differences when compared to 121020, most obviously it retains the "antler" external exhaust pipes. I'm not sure when it is going to enter public service but it is standing outside Aylesbury Depot at the moment looking very smart. A picture of it on yesterday's delivery run can be found here:
