Hi everyone,

I hope you don't mind my hubris, but I've joined the forum to ask, please, for your help. I've got a job interview with Northern Trains next week, and according to the job specification, I will be dealing with 'Special Traffic Traction diagrams' and 'Special traffic train plans including timing of paths'.

Unfortunately, I know nothing about this, and searching the internet seems to turn up little information.

If you have any information you have that could be of use to me, I would be eternally grateful.

It sounds as if it might be working out timetables and timings for special trains. Try t'internet for methods of timetabling trains- you should find a lot.
