Holmfirth Station
Does anyone know whats happened Holmfirth Station, it is open or closed?
I cant get times on national rails website at all. The nearest station is Brockholes. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I've just looked this up: Holmfirth station closed in 1959; as you say, the nearest station is now Brockholes. This is served by trains on the Barnsley to Huddersfield route. From Huddersfield, trains appear to run every hour, departing from Huddersfield at 8 minutes past the hour (at least between midday & 16.00 hrs) and takes 11 minutes to reach Brockholes. On the return journey, the trip takes between 14 and 17 minutes, also approximately every hour. Hope this is of some use to you.
