Good Evening.....Newbie here.
Good evening one and all. A new member here.
I thought I would join this forum as I joined a company that makes the fastenings that hold the rails in place. I don't know if anyones heard of them; Pandrol. I work in there development labs in Worksop. It would be good to hear other peoples experiences in this field if anyone out there has any. Anyway, here's to a happy forumming. |

Welcome to the Forum Clip Man.
My knowlege of Pandrol Clips is limited to using them when involved in track laying/repairs as part of the PW team at the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway, Wirksworth, Derbyshire, not very far from you! Look forward to your posts. Best wishes, John H-T. |

Welcome to the forum Clip Man, my knowledge of the fastenings that hold the rails in place, is zero. I would imagine with so many members on this forum some of them will be able to discuss rail fastenings.

Cheers
Thanks for the welcoming replies. My knowledge of the fastenings is slowly growing as I have only been with the company for 6 months.
It's been good as I spent a few days in Bulgaria working on one of their lines. Hot sunny days, lovely scenery, shame I was grafting at the time. I've worked on some assemblies for China (RTRI), Japan (EJR and WJR), America (AREMA) etc. It all sounds exciting and glamourous except it mostly involves work in the lab! I think a lot of my usage of this forum will be reading what is going on as I'm still getting up to speed with railway engineering in general. |

Hi Clipman,
I have seemed to miss you joining. Sorry about that. Welcome anyway. Paul. |
