Hi. I need to identify where this photo was taken in the UK. Do the metal struts help ? can you tell from their style what train line/route they are on ? ( I noticed all were solid on a recent trip on East Coast mainline). Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Metals
I couldn't say exactly where it is, but a guess is that it is on the Grand Union Canal close to the West Coast Man Line somewhere in between say Leighton Buzzard and Milton Keynes. Just a stab in the dark. |

Doesn't the West Coast main line run alongside the M6 and a canal in the vicinity of Watford Gap services?

Took a serious look at the photo after looking at the comments
there are NO OHL visible no cantenary nothing therefore this is a signal gantry and so without being able to identify the barge for which canal system it's on it could be a large number of places that have canal and railway together

The gantry on the photograph could be for colour light signals which means that if it is, it will be a four track railway.
