Hello everyone
Hi fellow enthusiasts,
My name is Clive and now retired I have decided to go back to trainspotting which I really enjoyed having grown up at the side of the GWR in the days of steam, once in your nostrils that smell of coal and steam is never forgotten. I live in Stamford Lincs so I am placed fairly well for getting out and about, mainly Peterborough at the moment with Ipswich shortly to follow. I may even get to meet up with fellow members of this Forum who knows  .Regards Clive

Hi Clive, welcome to the forum.
I was at the Nene Valley Railway on Sunday and had intended to visit Stamford as well to re-live childhood memories of annual picnics on the meadow by the river (and nipping off to the station) but time was against me.
