Yes Peter, this was the Midland Railway shed at Staveley near Chesterfield. Used to be coded 18D way back when, became 41E when transferred to the Eastern region. Became BH when shedplates gave way to stickers. Well worth a visit as it still retains a lot of it's old character. It's the only working Roundhouse shed in preservation in GB. Open every Sat. and Sun., no entry fee just give 'em a donation. http://www.barrowhill.org will give you more details.

Regards, 62440.

We stopped off at Barrow Hill, during a Hertfordshire Rail tours trip, I was on, quite a few years ago now. The shed was full, but the only thing I can recall, being in there, was one of the Tinsleys class 13's

One of the collection of Deltics (D9009) is currently on the G.C.R. at Loughborough. Next in use Aug 21/22, and Sept 4/5. Also Sept 10/11/12 at the Diesel Gala.

Regards, 62440.
