Thanks for posting the film Steve, it was just as I expected after the first one Super. I was not in the UK for the end of steam but this film is like a BR railway history lesson for me. I was a bit surprised at how much slipping there was, manly on the Southern section. Back home it was a point of pride to pull away from a station or pick up a load in the yard without slipping.

I noticed that the only slipping in part 2 was a Great Way Round loco. Seriously though, the regulator on a Bulleid is very insensitive so its difficult but not impossible to get away from some locations without a slip. Even the A4s in part 1 slipped leaving KingsX.
