Hello, I've just joined
Hello everyone,
I've just joined the Railway Forum this evening, my interest in steam goes back to travelling to and from school in the 50's and early 60's usually behind a Bullied from Bournmouth. I joined the K&ESR as a cleaner in 1986 and became a fireman in 1990, I then moved to Devon with my job in1993 and Joined the South Devon Railway, becoming a fireman in 1994 and a driver in 2002 and retired in 2012. Although it was mainly Western engines I remain an out and out Southern enthusiast! Last edited by paul mercer; 23rd October 2014 at 22:29. Reason: put in comma |

Welcome to the Forum, Paul. I've never quite managed to reach Tavistock, Okehampton being the nearest town I've visited. I still dream that one day the railway line will be restored there though.
