Hello we are the Brigg Line
 We are the Friends Of The Brigg & Lincoln Lines rail group, we look after two lines, they are the Sheffield Midland to Lincoln Central via Gainsborough Lea Road line and the Sheffield Midland - Gainsborough Central - Brigg - Cleethorpes line with the latter having the iconic Saturday Only service running.

Hi Briggline and welcome to the forum. I am a local man originally from Market Rasen and then moved to Lincoln in 1960 when all things steam used to run on our lines. Good days them! I remember Gainsborough well as I have family living there still.

Hello Briggline and welcome to the Railway Forum. If you think Gainsborough is bad, you should see some of the stations in Southern Africa. No platform, no bridge, no buildings. Just a sheet of corrugated iron painted white with a name on it.
