Jacobite Fort William Tickets
I am travelling to Fort William and hope to get tickets for a trip to Mallaig return on the Jacobite, however all pre-booked ticket have been sold and only a few tickets can be purchased on the day on a first come first served basis!
My question is: Can anyone advise as to the proceedure to get tickets on the day as I believe it is difficult! Does anyone have previous experience so I can go in the hope of success. many thanks in advance. regards Phil |

I did this journey last year about this time and the train was full.
I suspect the tickets available on the day will be for the NO SHOW people. But that's the gamble you take. You could always travel on the 12.48am DMU [ahhhhhh] and return at 16.05pm and save yourself £18.10p!!!. But it won't be the same crossing Glenfinnon Viaduct in a DMU. Hope your luck is in, it is well worth the journey. |
