Hello Prescotian and welcome to the Railway Forum. I'm not far from you, I'm in Bristol. I pass through Chepstow often when I drive up the Wye Valley. I'm an ex-Rhodesian Railways fireman & driver working mainly on Garratts. I also have a love affair with Hornby, Bachmann & Metcalfe although I have yet to start building my 00 layout. I also have an 'N' gauge layout which I sold to someone who did a lot of damage to it, then asked if I would take it back. I did not pay much for it, less than a quarter than he paid me for it in the first place.

Welcome to the Forum Prescotian and thanks for the link to you site.
Regularly visited the Chepstow Area as a boy and remember the steam trains in the Wye Valley. Have canoed the Wye from Ross to Brockweir Bridge in recent years finishing with tea at the beautifully restored Tintern Station. Look forward to you posts and photos on the Forum. Best wishes, John H-T.
