Nooby
Hi guys and gals,
I`ve just joined the forum, my main interest is in steam 1920's to 1960's, GWR etc. One day I hope to drive a steam train. I look forward to reading and contributing to posts. Last edited by Steve27752; 20th November 2009 at 21:31. |

Yes welcome.
Many heritage lines do offer a driving and firing course. I am sure they will help fulfil that dream!

Welcome to the Forum Steve. Look forward to your posts. If you really want do drive a train as opposed to just a loco try a week with The Wolstyn Experience in Poland driving real trains on the mainline at mainline speeds.
Best wishes, John H-T. |

My lack of experience shows already. I meant steam loco, not steam train!
