Nooby

Hi guys and gals,
I`ve just joined the forum, my main interest is in steam 1920's to 1960's, GWR etc. One day I hope to drive a steam train.
I look forward to reading and contributing to posts.

Yes welcome.
Many heritage lines do offer a driving and firing course.
I am sure they will help fulfil that dream!

Welcome to the Forum Steve. Look forward to your posts. If you really want do drive a train as opposed to just a loco try a week with The Wolstyn Experience in Poland driving real trains on the mainline at mainline speeds.

Best wishes,

John H-T.

Hi Steve, welcome to the forum. Another way to drive steam locos is to become a volunteer at your local heritage railway.

My lack of experience shows already. I meant steam loco, not steam train!
