Man guilty of rail track thefts (BBC News)
A man admits stealing £22,000 worth of railway track, which police say could have caused a serious accident.

Oh, right, I thought it ment he stole the track directly from the line, which would have been a rediculous thing to do on every level.
Even so that was a pretty wreckless and stupid thing to do. I hope he gets a good sentence. |

I think he should be sentenced to go back and collect all the other track junk and litter from a 10 mile stretch of urban railway. Any railway. And take it at his own expense to a recycling tip.
That should be about twenty 40-ton lorries if my observations are correct |
