Hi There!!
Hello there! Nice to finally come across a decent rail forum and with a gallery too!! I'm really into photography, mostly an admirer though because I don't have a decent camera myself yet.
I'm quite the train newbie at the moment, my strongest subjects are aircraft and birds, I got into trains when I started taking them to college about 3-4 years ago, before then I'd never really travelled by train much at all. My interest then grew when I met a train driver who is now my partner :D We often go travelling and I really enjoy having someone to talk to about my newest hobby. That's also why I joined these forums, I want to learn more and one of the best ways to do that is by discussion, right? :) Well that's all I have to say just now but if there are any questions I'll certainly reply to them.

Welcome.
My theory is that photography is 90% to do with the nut attached to the camera, and only 10% due to the camera itself. I'm always amazed by the results the old-masters got with a "pinhole camera" and a box of glass-plates standing by the main line. So dont worry about sharing any train related photo here. ![]() |
