Another Double Fatality

Train services between Cambridge/Stansted Airport and London Liverpool Street have been severely disrupted today following another double rail tragedy to occur along the line and this time in the Harlow Mill area when the 06.18 from Cambridge to Liverpool Street and travelling at 80mph, hit and killed a man and woman who were both on the track.

According to the news just a short while ago, a witness has come forward and told the British Transport Police they heard raised voices and it appeared the man was attempting to get the woman Off the track, but got hit by the train which never had time to stop. It is the Driver I always have tremendous sympathy for first, followed by those who have to clean up and then the victims families for their loss no matter whether it was an accident, suicide, or as it seems in this case, both.
