A New High Level Bridge in Newcastle - July 1906
A contemporary account of the completion of the additional rail bridge over the River Tyne.
This is the Bridge that became known as the King Edward VII Bridge. It is a Grade II listed structure and has been described as “Britain’s last great railway bridge”. http://rogerfarnworth.com/2024/10/26...zine-july-1906
