FGW (ex London Midland) re-livery
Does anyone have a link to any photos of First Great Western - ex: London Midland class 153 DMU';s in their new FGW livery. Are they having the 'Country' names vynils added or just repainted in the plain blue in a similar way to the 'imported' class 150's from Silver Link and London Midland.
Any information would be appreciated. |

I've been keeping an eye out around here but I don't think we ever get a 153 on local services. This morning I was in 150 002 which is now painted in the standard FGW dark blue.

I should be able to help you as I see 153s now and again at Exeter. The imported 1501?? class are painted in First dark blue with many names of places in the South West on them. I have seen a green 153 (presumably Midland) but have not noticed any 153s from Midlands as I not know any had been transfered to the South West. I will look more closely next time I travel on GWR lines.

I wasn't aware that LM had transferred any 153s to FGW, only 150s. LM 153s are being used to strengthen services coupled to 170s
