What a difference Crewe is from when I last visited back in the early 60's when steam and diesel used to run these lines!

Crewe is my closest 'major' station. When I think of the hrs ive spent on there in the 80s and 90s and mostly without a camera due to lack of funds. I wish id recorded more

Got to agree about not having a camera. Hard to get one in the 50's. In the 60's I had my first "instamatic" but the cost of film and development kept it in the draw most of the time! Pitty realy cos I have seen plenty of good stuff in them days!!! Now of course I have my trusty digital SLR and take as many as 500 shots in one day!!!!! Maybe in 100 years from now poeple may look at my photos and relive golden memories!
