Hello - and Lime St approach
I've just joined. I wonder if anyone can help me----
I'm trying to find a track plan of the Lime St. station approach/throat c.1960s. After many years of not knowing what to model, I'm thinking of modelling "a slice of Lime"! Someone at Network Rail seems to have lost the archive department - but this might just be due to my using the wrong phone numbers of course. Thanks for reading something from an (until now) armchair modeller. Realising this might be far too ambitious, the project might only be around 5 carriages long i.e. end of platform/canopy to beginning of tunnels. Thanks - Noah |

Hello and welcome to the forum Noah. I'm afraid I can't help with your question, but I'm sure someone on here will be able to give you some advice on where to find the iformation you're after.

There was a fabulous model of Liverpool Lime Street including the Tunnels and all 11 platforms at Warley last November. I have attached some photos. Sadly there is not a track plan in the Warley Programme. Probably a bit more ambitious that you had in mind!
The layout is still being built by John Holden. Welcome to the Forum. Best wishes, John H-T. |
