The present conditions brings back a memory of weather induced chaos on the Manchester-Sheffield Midland route many years ago. Standing in a wedged unit on the way back from Manchester I was very surprised when the Guard asked me to follow him and he invited me to use the drivers seat in the rear cab! No idea why he picked on me.
