Steam wise only got one footplate ride and that was way back in the 70's on the K&WVLR on a "school" trip we (the school railway society) organised as a history outing the loco was the American Austerity tank 72 (30072).
Also at MR Butterley with the "help" of grand son was managed to get a cabride
on 0-6-0T 3F Jinty 47357
