I had a trip out this morning to Foxton and Barrington to see the "mud trains".

Quite interesting.

The incoming train backs into the exchange sidings, then the 66 runs round to take the concist up to the unloading area at the old cement works.

The empty train is aso in the exchange sidings and backs out onto the main line, and then proceeds on the "wrong" line back towards London. I presume it crosses over fairly soon.

The old cement works has security on the gate so I could not get to see where the spoil is unloaded.
